Last Date to Apply: 10 November 2011 Send resume to aisha@nrecruitment.com Job Description Key Responsibilities: Provide GLOBE Template and Market-specific application systems expertise for a specific business area (e.g., Customer Service, Materials Handling). Diagnose end-user application system-related incidents and take corrective measures for the immediate resolution; and/or escalate these to the GLOBE Centre for second level resolution. Collaborate with the Market Business Excellence colleagues and process owners in assessing emerging Market business requirements to align these with GLOBE Application Template processes and 'best practice'. Identify and define the changes -People, Process & Data, Organisation, Technology required to the GLOBE solution to address new emerging business requirements, including the development of functional specifications following from approved GT change requests. Conduct systems tests to ensure that solutions delivered by the GC address business requirements as defined and specified. Provide end-user support in the use of Business Warehouse, including the development of BW query reports to address business needs. Identify end-user training requirements and needs arising from change request and application-related incidents, including assistance in the delivery of end-user training.   Skills & Knowledge:   Good knowledge of one or GT and Market application systems and inter-relationships with other applications. Problem solving and analysis skills. Business Object or Data analysis skills. Strong achievement focus i.e. high energy levels and commitment to end results. Excellent communication skills with demonstrated clarity in both spoken and written words. Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into simple models that can be more easily understood by the general business community.   Required Qualifications:   Background in Information Systems with a relevant degree. Experience with the GLOBE template gained as a member of an GT implementation project and/or gained as a GT 'Super User' As a guide, 1 years in support role, with ideally full implementation cycle experience. 1-2 years work experience in a specific Market application system NOTE: Please mention the position as a subject in your email.
